You'll train alongside a team of board-certified anesthesiologists, behavioral health specialists and physiatrists during your Pain Management rotations.

- Our Pain Management providers care for patients at a variety of Froedtert & MCW sites in southeastern Wisconsin, where you'll train alongside them. All locations are within about a 20-minute drive of the main campus:
- Our Pain Division also provides a Chronic Inpatient Pain Service (CHIPS) for inpatients at Froedtert Hospital and Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital
- Our Pain physicians are board-certified and have extensive training in multidisciplinary approaches to pain management and specialize not only in minimally invasive and surgical procedures, but also in physical therapy, psychological therapy and non-opioid medication options
- Providers strive to offer a comprehensive mental health and psychological approach to management of pain, offering psychological assessments, psychotherapy, biofeedback, mindfulness, guided imagery, support and education to patients
- Commonly treated conditions include chronic spine pain, neuropathic pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, limb pain, phantom limb pain, headaches and migraines, musculoskeletal and joint pain, orofacial pain, cancer pain, fibromyalgia, pain related to injury and post-laminectomy pain
